CWB 1855 SL -The Ergonomic Design & Benefits of a Proven Winner
The CWB 1855 SL is a technologically – proven wheel balancer that has been ergonomically-designed for optimal user-safety. Developed to improve upon the very successful forerunner – the CWB 1855 – the CWB 1855 SL uses identical internal drive-mechanisms and wheel-mounting to those used by the CWB 1855, the maintenance record of which is unquestionable.
Despite the excellent design of the CWB 1855, advances have been made in the new SL version – particularly in the ergonomics. In addition to a completely redesigned housing which stands at exactly the right height for the user, a gas-spring mounted protection frame has been integrated. This gas-spring protection bar not only allows for easier and more comfortable raising and lowering of the frame but also reduces wear-and-tear on the balancer.
The CWB 1855 SL has seven operating-modes including four alloy-, CTS-, Static- and Normal settings. Via the clear and unconfusing LED display, the user can see the exact position where weights must be placed on the wheel and in which mode the balancer is operating.
The CWB 1855 SL comes standard-equipped with an extensive accessories package which includes a new ‘quick-release’ wing-nut system for fast mounting and releasing of the wheel. This ‘quick-release’ system and fast 7-second spin time both ensure that the whole balancing procedure is not only quick but also simple.
