Human Interface
This analyser is configured with an easy-to-use human interface to access data and measurement results. The SUN configuration has as standard a virtual on-screen keyboard.Optionally, you can use a full size ASCII keyboard, wireless remote control and a light pen.Step into the future with the DGA 1000 – designed for worldwide use.
Sun Configuration
The DGA 1000 is a high performance exhaust gas analyser which meets the performance requirements of OIML class I and ISO 3930. The standard software supports the measurement of 4 gases, RPM, oil temperature and Lambda. An external memory is used for the program. It is large enough for legal tests such as MOT, AU and other test programmes with limits. The DGA 1000 is the perfect tune-up tool for modern high-tech engines fitted with complex management systems.
Analyses of 5 gases
The standard configuration allows for accurate measurement of 4 gases with standard software:- CO, CO2 and HC by infrared absorption- O2 is measured by electrochemical cell which can be changed by the operator.- Also measured is NO (optional) by electrochemical cell which must be changed by Sun.
Modern ignition systems
RPM can be measured by an inductive pick-up on ignition secondary cables, by capacitive pick-up on a primary cable or an injector cable, or by direct connection to a square wave from the engine management system. This will handle conventional, wasted-spark, direct ignition systems and all other modern ignition systems.
State-of-the-art display
The display is a high-tech SVGA 9″ (32 grey-shade) monitor. It displays the measurement of CO, CO corrigé, O2, NO, CO2, HC, Lambda and RPM simultaneously on the overview screen.
Virtual keyboard
12 Volt operation and printersThe Sun configuration includes a virtual keyboard on screen to access details of your workshop. The printer can be a Din A4 printer or a 24-column Axiohm internal high-speed thermal printer with an easy-to-change paper roll. It will print all your workshop details together with the test results in a professional format to help you sell the job. With the 12V adaptor (or converter) you have a great tool for on road tests.
