ASA-200
Measuring the opacity of diesel smoke using the ASA 200 couldn’t be simpler. The ASA 200 Sensor Head is attached to the exhaust pipe and connected to the battery powered Handcontroller by cable. The operator sits in the driving seat and carries out a sequence of acceleration tests. The unit then displays the result on-screen, including an automatic pass/fail reading.

The SUN Advanced Smoke Analyser uses the very latest electro-optical and digital signal processing techniques, ensuring that peak smoke emission levels are accurately measured and stored. Smoke emission levels can be measured by using an automatic Free Acceleration Test (FAS), the unit then displaying a pass or fail indication against the peak smoke specification.

For maximum mobility and long-term cost savings tha standard ASA 200 unit comes equipped with a Battery Charger for the Handcontroller unit. An optional Printer can be connected to the Battery Charger, allowing a printout of the test result to be made.
