SSM 2000
The compact SSM 2000 provides a large range of features and benefits. It consists of a self-calibrating smoke sensor unit and a computer compatible hand-controller with QWERTY keypad, large back-lit LCD alphanumeric graphics screen, updatable flash EEPROM program memory, thermal printer, piezo RPM transducer, oil temperature sensor, real time clock and communication ports for serial & parallel data exchange with computer platforms.
The standard version of the SSM 2000 is well equipped. Due to its multiple connection possibilities you can choose between several types of equipment and peripherals to connect to, such as external printers and computers. Various RPM measurement devices can be used with the following measurement techniques: optical, sound, piezo, and TTL. A portable test stand is available for the workshop environment, where immediate access and portability of equipment is required. Accessories are available for trucks and busses. Diesel engines also require adjustment for optimizing performance and protecting the environment.
The SSM2000 has an extreme software flexibility due to its flash EEPROM. This is a reprogrammable permanent memory which allows you to update test programs without disassembling hardware and/or exchanging parts.
