SOFTWARE To be able to test with the latest information the system- and limits software will be delivered on floppy disk. In this way it is possible to update your SMP 2000 with the latest information within minutes. STATE-OF-THE-ART DIGITAL OSCILLOSCOPE! The dual-channel digital labscope is a scope in a class of its own. With the aid of the latest technology it is capable of doing everything you want to do with a modern oscilloscope! The symbol-controlled scope has got many features such as: a zoom function, dual-channel operation, two X and two Y cursors, triggers on channel A and B, vertical position adjustment, fast sampling rate (200 kHz), storage mode up to 128 traces per channel, recorder functions for slow signals and software controlled trigger levels. The big advantage of this scope, compared with others, is the quick screen update of up to 30 pictures per second which gives you almost live data on screen. Signals which can be analysed with the digital scope are the primary -and secondary side of the ignition, alternator ripple, laboratory scope (multimeter and current), vacuum and diesel pulse (diesel optional). FutureSun's platform is built to replace the MEA 1500 and MCS 2000 and covers both the lower- and upper-end of the market. It is the quick and easy diagnostic tool to tune the modern cars from today and tomorrow.The system software and limits software are easily updated using floppy-disks. The 14-inch colour monitor displays all test pages, ignition scope and digital labscope measurements. In various test pages test results are even displayed as colour bar graphs. TEST, DON’T GUESS! A complete engine analyser with a symbol-controlled dual channel labscope, capable of testing direct ignition systems, wasted spark ignition systems and dual distributor ignition systems without additional adaptors.The SMP 2000 opens up the market of accurate, in-depth engine analysis without the expense that this level of technology normally demands. Being modular and with an extensive list of options, the choice of flexibility remains with the end-user. Options such-as a gas module, diesel kit, printer and remote-control expand the SMP 2000 to a complete engine analyser. The SMP 2000 is able to test all modern ignition systems like Wasted Spark, Dual Distributor and Direct Ignition systems without additional adaptors. You can use the existing WSA/DIA cables by connecting them via the optional leads to the boom of the SMP 2000. To test the secondary side of these ignition systems just add the secondary connection box and pattern pick-up leads.

Opel-uitvoering

Net als bij de MCS-2000 (Tech80) en de DGA-1800 (Tech40) bestaat er ook van de SMP-2000 een Opel-uitvoering: de SMP-2000 OPEL (Ident-Nr. 05200000) en SMP-2000 AU OPEL (Ident-Nr. 05200010). Dit zijn dezelfde machines, maar dan met lakwerk in Opel-kleuren; de specificaties en opties zijn identiek aan de standaard SMP-2000 / SMP-2000 AU hierboven.
