Product Features: The TAU 1000 comes standard with power leads with colour-coded clip boots, an inductive pick-up for computing the rpm and timing readings and an rugged storage box. The LED display displays engine speed from 0 to 9990 rpm and timing degrees from 0° to +180°. "ERR" will be displayed if rpm exceeds 9990. The control panel consists of five function keys: TACH/ADV, FLASH, INC, DEC, RESET. TACH/ADV: is pressed to select tachometer or timing reading. FLASH: is an "on/off" switch for the flash function. INC: increases degrees of timing light advance up to 180°. DEC: decreases degrees of timing light advance. RESET: automatically zeros degrees of advance that have been entered with the "INC" key.
