We are pleased to show the improved Sun RPM adaptor; the SRA 3. The capabilities from the SRA 2b are expanded with a special output for a Capalec cable. This enables you to use the original cable without any problems.
The SRA 3 reads remote RPM from every internal combustion engine within seconds of switching the unit on. The SRA 3 incorporates highly advanced technology for soundrecognition using the acoustic sensor and "ripple"-recognition using an electrical sensor. It works on sound and/or electrical characteristics caused by the running engine, Diesel or Petrol.
The SRA 3 is complete portable and can run off four penlight batteries or 12 or 24 V DC power supplies by the cigarette lighter connector.
At the back side of the SRA 3 are all connections located and the cable loop for connecting the trigger clamp. The SRA 3 enables you to transfer RPM readings to all Sun equipment and to almost every other test equipment where RPM reading is required while testing.
