SUN’S CWB 8000, the advanced and modern Wheel Balancer for Truck and Car wheels.
CWB 8000 is a fully equipped wheel balancer with 14" VGA colour monitor for balancing truck, bus and car wheels. Standard equipment includes the MZV-L cone adaptor including 3 cones for truck wheels, the pneumatic lifting device and the wheel guard.
The CWB 8000 pneumatic lifting device facilitates clamping and centring of the truck wheel considerably. In addition it offers space for clamping means and tools. If there is no such loading device, centring an off-the-vehicle wheel balancer and consequently exact balancing results were hardly possible considering the enormous weight of the truck wheels.
Truck wheels are often balanced directly on the vehicle only by means of a finishbalancer. But the finishbalancer is only capable of measuring the static portion of the unbalance. The influence of dynamic unbalance on the measured (finishbalancer) result is as low as about 20 % so that 80 % of dynamic unbalance cannot be measured with the finishbalancer. Dynamic balancing of truck wheels increase the truck wheel lifecycle by up to 20 %!!!The CWB 8000 measures both the static and the dynamic portions of unbalance.
